A Peek at What We Do

We often get asked "What all do you all do at The Vine?". There is no short answer for that, but we can give you an idea. We took a month and journaled our every day activities to better help explain. Every day is different and every month is different, this will give you a general look into our daily operations.

We gave her toilet paper and paper towels. We went to her home and prayed over her family we were then led of the Lord to bless her with $40 for gas and whatever else she needed it for.

The men went and finished laying the kitchen tile for a pregnant sister in Christ because she had someone start a job in her kitchen that they could not finish so dad and Joey jumped in and finished it for her at no charge.

We went and picked up donations of clothes from a church near Clendenin WV

Tues. night hot food giveaway, we cooked for and feed and prayed for 7 families in a rundown trailer park near Cedar Grove. We had much movement of the Spirit during the prayer times.

Organized clothes to get ready for the giveaway

Ministered and prayed with a drug addict.

The Lord led us to sow $100 to a sister in Christ who was in need.

Prayed and fed another drug addict, she had ten days clean at the time. The Lord gave a word to the individual through dad, He said “If you continue to walk clean for 3 months, I will restore your life back to you as if you had never lost everything”.

We prayed with and fed a soldier who got put out of work. He had been suicidal before he showed up, Jesus orchestrated a major breakthrough. During prayer time he completely broke in the Spirit, and worshipped from a prostrate position. The joy of the Lord overwhelmed him, much was gained.

Went thru more clothing and picked some up. Got a flat tire, a man stopped to help, and we were able to minister to him. He had just got out of prison and he let Joey pray for him.

We went to a home that housed a group of alcoholics, even though they were mostly drunk, we were able to share the love of Jesus with them and pray for them. We were privileged to give them all some prepared food, and they started eating right away. They received the Word of God graciously, and one of them mentioned a young man that had received Christ the week before.

We are now in full swing, working on donations for Christmas on the streets.

We have given over 20,000 brand new toys to needy children since 2012 and over 2000 food boxes.

Hopefully this will give a glimpse into our daily lives at the ministry. It’s hard to sometimes put down everything we all do every day. I suppose I should have recorded that every day is started in devotions and prayer and praise to our Heavenly Father with each member of our ministry. Thank you and God bless!!!!!!!!!
